':app:compileFlutterBuildDebug' error for new flutter project

Question

I have installed flutter by following all the steps. When I create a new project in Visual studio I can run it on Chrome. However, when I try to run it on an android device I keep getting ':app:compileFlutterBuildDebug' error.

Here is the output:
