Previously I searched about this error and found many answers on this platform but they were not useful for me as my problem did not solve. I have downloaded the setup from the official website today(06/07/2020) . Please Help me out .

Seems like your installer is missing some default java libraries javax/annotation/{PostConstruct,PreDestroy}, which were no longer supported since Java9, you are using java12. https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/1092223/ Use the latest version, the one you have downloaded. Eclipse Oxygen is too old now and they are no further supported also. https://wiki.eclipse.org/Older_Versions_Of_Eclipse The migration of your packages to the newer version is fairly easy.

According to the exception message, the @PostConstruct and @PreDestroy annotation types can't be found. These types have been removed in Java 11. This means that you can't run the application with Java 11 or later.

Try to run Eclipse with Java 8 instead, it should solve this issue.

As others have already mentioned, you are using a quite old version of Eclipse. If possible, you should use a newer version. I recognize that it isn't always easy to switch Eclipse versions due to possible plugin incompatibilities but it is usually worth it to get the latest IDE improvements.
